Lise will travel to Duisburg, Germany, to jump into the role of Brünnhilde in Wagner’s Siegfried on 3 and 10 February. Lise has previously appeared at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, singing the role of Turandot.
Lise will sing Brünnhilde twice more this season, at Oper Leipzig and Teatro di San Carlo.
Lise will sing Die Färberin in Richard Strauss’s opera Die Frau ohne Schatten (The Woman Without a Shadow) at Hamburg State Opera this month. Directed by Andreas Kriegenburg and conducted by Kent Nagano, the performances will take place on 26 & 30 December 2018 and 5 January 2019.
