American dramatic soprano Lise Lindstrom has dazzled the world with compelling performances that are “truly world-class”.
Her unique vocal power, combined with her expansive range, extensive palette of vocal colors, and unrivaled stagecraft make her one of the most sought-after talents of her generation. In roles that range from Turandot to Senta, Elektra to Brünnhilde, the Fäberin to Isolde, Lindstrom’s distinguished career has taken her to the world’s leading opera houses, including The Metropolitan Opera, San Francisco Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Wiener Staatsoper, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, and Teatro alla Scala.

This is the first album of Pietari Inkinen as chief conductor of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie. Inkinen, as well as Lise Lindstrom and Stefan Vinke who are already known as highly experienced Wagner performers. Lise Lindstrom’s performance as Brünnhilde in her first-ever full Ring Cycle for Opera Australia in 2016 received the Green Room Award and Helpmann Award. She has also performed excerpts from Siegfried and Götterdämmerung in the same role with the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra under Pietari Inkinen.
