Wagner's 'Die Walküre' with Dallas Symphony Orchestra

On May 2 and 5, Lise Lindstrom stars as Brünnhilde in Die Walküre with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Fabio Luisi.

This performance marks the second installment of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s Ring Cycle. The cycle will continue with an encore performance of Die Walküre, followed by the third and fourth installments, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung, in October, with Ms. Lindstrom reprising her role.

Directed by Alberto Triola, this stellar cast also features Sara Jakubiak as Sieglinde, Christopher Ventris as Siegmund, Stephen Milling as Hunding, Mark Delavan as Wotan, Deniz Uzun as Fricka/Waltraute, Alexandra Loutsion as Gerhilde, Miriam Clark as Ortlinde, Jennifer Johnson Cano as Schwertleite, Kathryn Henry as Helmwige, Sun-Ly Pierce as Siegrune, Renée Tatum as Grimgerde, and Melody Wilson as Rossweisse.
