Spring and summer 2016 see Lise perform at Weiner Staatsoper, Teatro Carlo Felice, and Detroit Symphony Orchestra
This spring, Lise Lindstrom reunites with Gustavo Dudamel at the Wiener Staatsoper for five performances of Puccini’s Turandot. From April 28 to May 12, the American soprano performs alongside Johan Botha as Kalaf and Anita Hartig as Liù.
Lise then travels to Italy where she sings the title role in Salome at Teatro Carlo Felice under the baton of Fabio Luisi. Lauded as “a Salome to be reckoned with,” Lise performs Strauss’s young princess from May 21 to 28 (The Opera Critic).
Closing out the 2015-16 season, Lise makes her Detroit Symphony Orchestra debut with two concert performances of Salome. Leonard Slatkin leads the orchestra on June 3 and 5, the second of which will be broadcast online by the DSO.
