Lise Makes Her Long-Awaited Debut in South Korea
On December 9, Lise makes her South Korean debut in concert performance of Turandot at the Seoul Arts Center.
Lise’s “dramatically alluring and vocally impressive” (The New York Times) Turandot has been performed in some of the world’s greatest opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Royal Opera House. Critics have praised her “immensely powerful voice” and “magnetic force” (The Independent), as well as her “impressively focused” sound and “vibrant vibrato” (The New York Times).
The American soprano is joined by tenor Sung Kyu Park (Calaf), soprano Sunyoung Seo (Liu), and conductor Julian Kovatchev.
