Lise performs at Wiener Staatsoper, Opera Australia, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Staatsoper Hamburg, Royal Opera in 16-17 season

Beginning the 2016-17 season at the Wiener Staatsoper, Lise Lindstrom reprises the title role in Puccini’s Turandot on September 4 and 7. The American soprano can be seen performing alongside Johan Botha, Olga Bezsmertna, and Dan Paul Dumitrescu via livestream on September 4.

Lise follows Turandot with a recital of excerpts from Wagner’s Siegfried and Götterdämmerung at Suntory Hall with the Japan Philharmonic, Simon O’Neill and Pietari Inkinen.

Continuing her study of Wagner, Lise performs her first full Ring Cycle at Opera Australia, performances beginning November 21 and running through December 16.

To close out the year, Lise makes her Deutsche Oper am Rhein debut with two performances of Turandot on December 29, 2016 and January 28, 2017.

Making another role debut, the American soprano sings her first die Färberin in Strauss’ Die Frau ohne Schatten at Staatsoper Hamburg from April 16 to May 7. At the Royal Opera House, Lise joins Andrei Serban’s production of Turandot on July 8, 11, 14, and 16. Audiences can enjoy a DVD recording of Lise’s Royal Opera House debut in Turandot via Amazon.
